WELCOME TO THE E.E.P.T.A.

The Evergreen Elementary Parent Teacher Association is a non profit, volunteer organization that was created to support the students and staff at Evergreen Elementary School in Midlothian, Virginia.  Our hope is that this web site will be a source for members to get the information they need on everything EEPTA.  From County Council Meetings to Community Dinners and everything in between we have what you need to be active and stay informed with your PTA.

We still need help September 7-17th for Bus Duty....if you are able to help even just for a day or two that would be great.  We mainly need help the 1st week.  That is the most important week for all of the new students.  This is not a complex job nor is it a job for our new K parents. We are done by 9:30 at the latest.  You have time to get your kids on the bus in the am and will be able to get home in time to get them off the bus. 
If you are able to help, email volunteercoordinator@eepta.com with your choice of day(s) and if you would prefer AM or PM.

Cafeteria Volunteers NEEDED

Want a great way to get to know the staff and students at Evergreen?  Volunteer for cafeteria duty.  Due to the budget cuts, we have limited access to teacher aides; therefore, we need YOU. 

The cafeteria volunteers are responsible for assisting students in opening food containers, encouraging students to use “indoor voices,” finish lunch on time, assisting students in lining up, etc. 

You can volunteer daily, weekly or monthly!  The following are the lunch time hours and hours for which help is needed:

Block 1:  4 - 5 volunteers needed

   K             10:40 - 11:15

          1st          11:15 - 11:45        

  2nd          11:45 - 12:15

 Block 2:  2 - 3 volunteers needed

  4th          12:15 - 12:45

                  5th          12:45 - 1:15                 

3rd          1:15 - 1:45

(note: 3^rd grade is the last lunch)
